Enough Said Enough Said was filmed between '85 and '91 and is Scott Carter’s first film. I've seen it before, but I still felt shudders up my spine as the opening track kicked in and the filth began. In terms of footage, there’s epic pipeline with Stewart, Tamega and co. all charging, insane antics from Newport Wedge and Chad Barba’s hell-cam with infinite amounts of water shots and empty wave action all additional highlights. My favourite segment is the one of Sandies, golden imagery with the colour of the boards and rashies making for some cosmic viewing. From a dropknee perspective you will see arguably the best Paul Roach section ever along with Aka Lyman taming anything coming his way. Enough Said is a moment in the culture and history of our sport and this film chronicles those times perfectly.
