Both of the suits have heaters in the suit positioned at the back on the kidney area. When activated the heaters last for about two hours. They can be re-charged after your surf and used over and over again. The pads are positioned so that they curve into your back and are comfortable. Another option is to buy a belt with pads in it, the pads are £4.95 and a Thermo belt is £24.95 so you can try it out and see if you find that it works for you. We’re confident that you will then want to buy a suit. The Prodigy is the top suit in the range and has a firewall on the front and the back. The hood on the Prodigy isn’t detachable so there is no chance of leakage or back drips.

Still the most affordable heated suit on the market. Removable heat pads at the base of the spine make this 6mm hooded suit the choice wetsuit for surfers in cold water.
