We think Mickey is nuts! Last month he purposely took 10-foot Aileen’s sets on the head so as to be washed into a small cove from which he could walk to an amazing wave he'd discovered! It’s sick! Mickey also has a band called Gilded Lily. A talented man.

Richie Fitzgerald is Bundoran born and bred, and loves the place so much it’s very difficult to get him to surf anywhere else in Ireland! He’s surfed all over the warmer parts of the globe and usually has an annual stint in Barbados.

Gabe Davies was one of the first people to bring tow surfing to Ireland with his long time friend and local Bundoran ‘celebrity’ Richie Fitzgerald. They towed Mullaghmore on a rented jetski — their old one blew up and they couldn’t afford a new one!
